The price of £1800 per night includes the following accommodation which sleeps up to a maximum of 30 guests in total.
4 x Bell tents - each sleeping up to 6 guests comfortably in each - bed configuration in tents are set to 1 double and 4 singles however if you prefer 6 singles please request this at time of booking and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
3 x Shepherd Huts - each sleeping up to 2 guests in each, however you can sleep a small toddler in with you if you wish. ( 1 x double bed - this cannot be changed)
In addition an extra 30 additional guests are allowed by pitching their own tents within the glamp site making 60 guests in total. Extra guest charge is an additional cost of £40 per guest per night or £20 for day guests. Guests bringing their own small tents will need to bring their own furnishings, sleeping bags, pillows etc.
Alternatively extra bell tents can be hired in from trusted partner. Please ask for further details.
Top quality bedding, pillows and covers supplied. Anyone staying in the bell tents will need to bring towels and toiletries for washing and shower. These are provided for the shepherd hut guests. All cooking utensils, pans, crockery, cutlery, glasses etc. are provided, however sometimes larger groups prefer to bring their own disposable plates etc. which is fine with us. All you need to do is bring some warm clothes for the chilly English evenings sitting around the fire pits and very warm PJs to go to bed in.
The fire pits and gas bbq's are included in the price, we don't charge any extra for the use of these or the gas, you will just need to buy the logs for fire pit, which we sell onsite.
You will have exclusive hire of the glamp site for the duration of your stay. We do allow music but no professional DJ set ups or amplified music at any time. Music must be turned off by 10.30pm, ALL noise after this time must be kept to a minimum, loud voices etc.. We ask you to be respectful of these rules at all times.
If you intend to bring in any outside caterers etc. or any other service suppliers please run it past us first to get our approval.
We can arrange local caterers to come in and supply food for your guests if you require.
We can also arrange marquee hire for your event if required, subject to availability - please ask for more details.
You will need prior approval from us to arrange any 3rd party supplier on site. They will also need to produce their public Insurance liability certificate and any other necessary documents/certificates in relation to their specific business prior to arrival. Please note all legal responsibility for health and safety will lye directly with the 3rd party supplier and not Hopgarden Glamping.

The price for exclusive site hire includes accommodation for up to 30 guests - However this can be increased to a maximum of 60 in total. They have the option to pitch their own tents within the glamp site or we can arrange for extra bell tents from our trusted partner also pitched within the glamp site. Please note each extra guest above 30 whether overnight or day guests will be subject to a charge per person per night/day.
Please ensure you bring some warm and waterproof clothes and footwear in case of bad weather or for those chilly English evenings and mornings!
The site must be left as you found it, clean and tidy. All outside furniture must be put back in its place and crockery etc. needs to be washed up and put away back to where it belongs. All rubbish to be collected and placed in black bags which are provided for you. and placed into the wheelie bins provided. Please don't leave us any washing up, that includes the gas griddles!!! There will be a charge for any extra cleaning services if needed after you check out.
Please notify us of any spillages or breakages before checking out. Any damage costs incurred will be taken from your security deposit before refunding back to you. We will advise you of any extra charges you may have incurred within 3 days of checkout.
Hopgarden Glamping is located in a small hamlet within an area of outstanding natural beauty on the stunning Kent/Sussex border, Amazingly peaceful.
Local villages are Wadhurst and Lamberhurst. Quiet & rural yet good local amenities. Miles of public footpaths & great bike rides. Plenty of pubs and restaurants within 10 minutes drive. Quaint Historic 16th c pub. house within 5 mins walk along with another around 15 mins walk.
Lots of National Trust Places of Historic Interest or Natural Beauty and private country estates to visit, along with many beautiful villages, historic town centres and seaside towns to explore.
Royal Tunbridge Wells 7 miles Hastings 19 miles Rye 20 mins drive Maidstone 20 mins drive Bewl Water is a 10 min walk along a quiet lane.
Our local train station is Wadhurst, this is on the South-Eastern line and runs regular services into London Bridge &/or Charing Cross (Travel time is approx 50 mins.) and continues onto the seaside town of Hastings in the other direction.
The train station is located approx 2 mile outside of the village of Wadhurst and it is quite a walk up a steep hill to reach the village of Wadhurst.
We are then a further 2 miles on from there, so we offer a collection and drop off to and from the station for our guests, subject to our availability at the time, otherwise we can arrange a local taxi to collect you.
Please let us know at the time of booking if you are going to require transport from the station.
