A real hidden gem.family run business est. 2019 offering a chilled out, relaxing break away from the hustle and bustle whether you choose a glamping or camping stay. So much nature on your doorstep.
Take the hassle out of a quick get away by staying on our glamp site for a luxury glamping experience, where four furnished Bell tents and three furnished Shepherd huts are located within a dedicated private gated area. Where everything you need is provided for you or
maybe you are a traditional camper who prefers to pitch your own tent instead. Either way we got you covered. Our lovely camp field offers spacious pitches. Its located adjacent to the glamp site separated by a beautiful bamboo hedge for privacy.
Exclusive site hire is available for both our glamp site & camp field for your event. The perfect way to celebrate a special occasion, a great meeting point for a relaxed family & friends gathering.
Retreat enquiries welcome, yoga, fitness, wellbeing etc. as well as group gatherings such as Hen and Stags, social, walking, motorbike, cycling, art, nature groups as well as corporate away days.

Located in the beautiful hamlet of Cousley Wood under the parish of Wadhurst, Hopgarden glamping and camping sits on the glorious Kent/Sussex border close to Royal Tunbridge Wells
Lots of places to visit including historic castles & sites, nature trails, steam railways, rivers and lakes & picturesque villages
Set within approx 8 acres of picturesque, very private, secure, spacious grounds, ideal for everyone to enjoy.
Closest train station is either Frant or Wadhurst - South Eastern line.

Our 4 beautifully fully furnished 6m bell tents are located in the same area as the Shepherd huts just a bit further down the field. They are very spacious, clean and airy and provide everything you need for your luxury glamping experience.
The tents can each sleep up to 6 guests comfortably.
The bed layout is as follows: 1 Double bed and 4 singles.
This layout cannot be changed.
Pretty bunting, lanterns and extra finishing touches inside plus solar powered lighting and flowers outside enhance the look of the bell tents.
We provide clean crisp matching top quality bedding, pillows, duvet etc. all made up ready for you along with a fluffy hot water bottle to warm the bed up before you get in plus a warm cosy throw for each guest for those chilly evenings. We recommend you bring nice warm PJS or a warm lounge suit for bed as it can be cold during the night even in summer.
Electricity is provided to the bell tents. For your comfort we have provided 2 nice armchairs, side tables with lanterns and bedside tables. We provide a DAB bluetooth radio for your entertainment & an electric lamp. There are 2 x USB ports in each tent so you can charge your phones with ease. FREE WiFi.
The small mirror provided is also a handy addition.
Behind each tent there is a quirky shower hut providing an instant hot water gas powered shower, along with their own clean fresh toilet units next door. Please note you will need to bring your own towels and toiletries for the showers if booking a stay in the bell tents. A dressing gown is also a good idea for going to the loo or the shower.
There is plenty of bench seating and dining tables are provided in dedicated areas for each tent, as well as comfy camp chairs, a firepit come BBQ and utensils.
The fire pit is a favourite for toasting marshmallows or maybe just to warm up whilst sitting outside in the evenings watching the beautiful sunset. Wood for the fire pits can be added as an extra at the time of booking online.
There are 2 small kitchenettes located in between the tents these are shared between the 4 bell tents. There is a standpipe with drinking water located outside each of the kitchenettes next to a freestanding sink and drainer unit for washing up.
The kitchen facilities include all you should need including, mugs, glasses, cutlery, crockery, cooking pans and utensils, cooking hobs, small fridge freezers, microwave ovens, electric kettles and toasters. A small quantity of tea, coffee, sugar and individual milk portions are also supplied free of charge.
We have provided everything needed to relax and soak up the beautiful, tranquil surroundings. There is plenty of space on site for entertaining, playing ball games, rounders etc.
Why not book all 4 bell tents for a group gathering a special occasion. For larger groups include the 3 Shepherd huts as well and have the whole place to yourselves perfect for those who prefer more privacy.

Privately set in our pretty wooded glade area within peaceful and secure grounds, the light and airy shepherd huts provide everything you need for your luxury glamping experience, all 3 are all the same size and layout, also very similar in decor and furnishings. Solar powered lighting and flowers enhance the look around the outside of the huts and glamp site.
They have a minimalist country feel and are surprisingly spacious. Fully furnished with a stylish double bed, a warm duvet, pillows and top quality bedding. The 2 small chairs, a pull out table, wall mirror, a wardrobe create a cosy space and an electric wood burning style heater is a great addition for those chilly evenings. Wine glasses and other useful items are also located in each hut.
Tea and coffee making facilities further enhance your comfortable stay for up to 2 guests, A small quantity of tea, coffee, sugar and individual milk portions are also supplied free of charge.
A Smart TV/DVD combo which is a great edition, using the FREE WiFi to connect to your favourite show or bring your favourite DVD to watch. USB sockets for charging phones with ease are also a handy addition.
Relax and chill in your very own outdoor area, a mix of hard standing patio and grassed areas perfect for relaxing on the 2 comfortable sun loungers or enjoy cooking up a meal using the gas griddles provided. Serve up utilising the lovely french style bistro tables and chairs.

Close to the huts is the very well equipped Kitchen hut along with the modern Shower/toilet hut. These facilities are shared between the 3 huts.
The kitchen hut facilities include: large fridge/freezer, microwave oven, electric hob, kettle, toaster, sink with hot water, cleaning equipment, tea towels dish clothes etc., cutlery, crockery, cooking pans and utensils, picnic baskets for your use, small table and chairs plus an outdoor picnic bench for alfresco dining.
The Toilet/shower hut facilities include: 2 x private lockable rooms each comprising a lovely power shower, toilet and sink with instant hot water, fluffy towels & flannels, hair dryer, USB electric sockets, electric wall mounted heater in each, hand soap, shower gel/body wash & shampoo

Grass camping pitches
Set in 5 acres of lush pasture with spacious pitches, lots of space. Amazing far reaching views over the Weald of Kent from the top of the camp field
Basic facilities include a quirky wooden shower hut, a clean loo and a kitchen sink for washing up, located next to a fresh water standpipe.
There are NO electric hook up on the camp field
Only fires in elevated fire pits are allowed, Firepits and fire wood are available to hire/purchase directly from us. Please add at checkout, add to your booking at a later date or purchase them on site
Prices for Camp field
Camping is charged at £17.50 per person per night.
Adults & Children. Babies under 2 are FREE
No extra charge gazebos, puppy pens, awnings etc.
No car park charges. Park next to your pitch. Small camper vans and bell tents are welcome
Well behaved dogs are allowed on the camp field however they must be on a lead or tether at all times. The charge is £5 per dog per night. Please add at checkout

Exclusive Glamp site hire information
Here is what's included in our Exclusive Glamp site hire
Experience the beauty of nature at its finest when you hire our pretty camp field exclusively for your group. The view from the top of the camping field is stunning, far reaching over the Weald of Kent.
This really is a hidden gem, 5 acres of pasture with spacious pitches. The perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Wake up to the sound of birds singing, spend your days celebrating that special occasion or simply a relaxing get together with friends and family, The perfect place for catching up and chilling out around the campfire. Plenty of nearby places to visit.
The price of £875 includes camping for upto 50 guests whether staying overnight or day guests.
In addition to the 50 guests included in the price, up to 50 additional guests are allowed. Extra guest charges are an additional cost of £17.50 per person per night or £10 per person for day guests per day.
For guests who don't own their own camping equipment, we work with a trusted partner who can arrange for fully furnished bell tents to be erected within the camp field. Please ask for further details and costings.
There is a lovely hot water gas shower hut, a clean loo and a kitchen sink for washing up, located next to a fresh water standpipe. Extra loos can be hired in at an extra cost if needed.
Well behaved dogs are allowed on the camp field however they must be on a lead or tether at all times - max 10 dogs on site at anytime.
Feel free to bring your own gazebos, puppy pens, awnings etc.
Bell tents and small camper vans are welcome.
Please note there is NO electric supply to the camp field.
Only fires in elevated fire pits are allowed, No ground fires under any circumstances.
We will provide you with at least 1 x firepit for the duration of your stay including cooking utensils in case you wish to cook on the firepit and also a few bags of firewood are supplied within the price.
We do allow music but no professional DJ set ups, live singers, bands or amplified music at any time. Music must be turned off by 10.30pm, ALL noise after this time must be kept to a minimum, loud voices etc. We ask you to be respectful of these rules at all times.
If you would like to bring in any outside caterers, bouncy castles, marquees etc. or any other service suppliers please run it past us first to get our approval. Please note this is at our discretion. If approval is given they will also need to produce their public Insurance liability certificate and any other necessary documents/certificates in relation to their specific business prior to arrival. We do have a list of approved local trusted 3rd party suppliers which we prefer to use. Please contact us for more details.
