Shepherd hut guests - Yes, we have a clean and modern shower hut which is located around 50 yds from the Shepherd huts. Towels and toiletries provided.
Bell tent guests - Yes, each Bell tent has its own clean toilet and hot shower unit directly behind each tent. You will need to bring your own towels and toiletries.
Shepherd hut guests - Yes, we have a fully equipped clean and modern kitchen hut which is located next to the shepherd huts, which is shared between the 3 huts. See Shepherd hut tab for more details on facilities.
Bell tent guests - Yes, there are 2 well equipped quirky kitchenettes which are each shared between 2 Bell tents. See Bell tent tab above for more details on facilities.
We do allow day guests on both the Glamp site and the camp field. There is a charge per person for this. Please add onto your booking or add later if needed. All Day guests need to be paid for in advance of your check in date.
No, sorry we do not offer any facilities to charge Electric Vehicles at this time. Under NO circumstances are you to use any of the electricity sockets anywhere on site for charging any vehicle.
If staying on the glamp site, the standard check in is anytime from 3.30pm up until 8pm and 10.30am is the standard check out time. If staying on our camp field standard check in time is anytime from 1pm and standard check out time is 11.30am.
We always try to accommodate guests who would like to arrive a bit earlier or later or check out a little later. However this is not guaranteed depending on circumstances at the time. Please contact us the day before arrival to see if an early or late check in is available at that time. We can advise whether a later checkout is available once you have checked in.
Yes, we do allow our guests to play background music up until 10pm. However the music must be at what would be accepted as a domestic level and cannot be amplified at any time. ALL Noise after 10pm must be kept to a minimum. You are welcome to sit and chill around the fire pit into the early hours if you wish as long as you are quiet and don't disturb other guests or neighbours.
Yes, we do accommodate group bookings above 6 guests, however please advise us at the time of booking what the nature of your group visit is. We have the right to refuse group bookings if we feel it may affect other guests or have a detriment affect on our business.
Yes, we can offer this option for you. The price includes accommodation for up to 30 guests. More guests can be added for an extra cost per person per night. They can either stay within the glamp site in their own tents or we can arrange for extra fully furnished bell tents to be erected to accommodate extra guests if required.
The Bell tents are already decorated with lovely faux flower displays and solar powered lights around each tent outside. There is pretty bunting up around the edge inside. You are welcome to put balloons, banners etc up however no sequins, sticky gems, crystals or similar allowed inside the tents or huts at any time. Please also make sure that you remove anything you have put up before checking out. Alternatively we can arrange all this for you. Please see our list of extras when booking.
Shepherd huts - Yes, there are 2 comfy sun loungers plus a bistro table and 2 chairs for dining. There are also small side tables and a fire pit supplied to each hut.
Bell tents - Yes, we have enough relaxing camp chairs for all guests. Together with bench style seating and tables suitable for dining or playing games. There are also small side tables and a fire pit supplied to each tent.
Hopgarden Glamping is located in a small hamlet within an area of outstanding natural beauty on the stunning Kent/Sussex border, 7 miles from Royal Tunbridge Wells.
Our local village is Wadhurst and was voted the best village to live in England in 2023. Quiet & rural, yet good local amenities. Miles of public footpaths & great bike rides. Plenty of pubs and restaurants in Wadhurst village and within 10 minutes drive. Quaint Historic 16th c pub. house within 5 mins walk along with another around 20 mins walk.
At present we don't take a security deposit, however we reserve the right to charge the original payment card for any damage caused to anything on site during your stay, if extra cleaning is needed above the normal cleaning regime or if furniture etc, isn't put back if moved. We will advise you within 24 hours of check out if there will be any extra charges made.
Unfortunately NO dogs are allowed on the glamp site at any time. However we do allow dogs on the camp field subject to terms and conditions, please see relevant section below.

There is a a clean toilet and shower hut along with a drinking water standpipe close to a kitchen sink.
We do allow camp fires only in a firepit raised off of the ground. We hire the fire pits along with utensils and also sell fire wood here on site. You can add these to your booking or arrange this with us nearer the time of your stay.
Well behaved dogs are allowed on the camp field, however they must be kept on a lead or tether at all times. There is an extra charge per dog per night.
